Indian cricket star Virat Kohli has expressed deep sorrow and outrage over the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which claimed the lives of at least 26 people. Taking to his official Instagram account on Wednesday, Kohli condemned the brutal act and offered his condolences to the bereaved families.

Virat Kohli  Offers Heartfelt Condolences To Victims’ Families

The attack, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon at a popular meadow near Pahalgam, is being described as the deadliest strike in the Kashmir valley since the Pulwama terror attack in 2019. 

The incident has sent shockwaves across the nation, prompting an outpouring of grief and demands for justice from public figures and citizens. 

“Deeply saddened by the heinous attack in Pahalgam on innocent people. Heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. Praying for peace and strength to families of all those who lost their lives and justice to be served for this cruel act,” Kohli posted on his official Instagram profile.

Known for voicing his thoughts during times of national distress, the former India captain once again used his platform to stand in support of the victims and their families. Several other Indian cricketers, including KL Rahul and Shubman Gill, also took to social media to express their condolences and condemn the violence.

Virat Kohli's Recent Form In IPL

Virat Kohli is currently participating in the 18th edition of the IPL for RCB. So far in the 2025 season, he has played eight matches and made 322 runs at an impressive average of 64.40 and a strike rate of 140.00.
