County Div-Two 2022 | MID vs SUS | Match Preview, Prediction, CREX XI

The Division Two of the ongoing 2022 County Championship will proceed with the 38th match of the season. Hosts Middlesex will be taking on Sussex at Lord’s, London and the four-day affair will commence from July 19 onwards.

Middlesex is currently placed at number two on the Division Two points table. They have registered four wins, two defeats and three draws out of their nine matches this season.

Despite a remarkable campaign, their performance has slightly dipped in the last three matches, which featured both of their two defeats of the year.

A win against Sussex in the upcoming game will put them above table-toppers Nottinghamshire, to be placed at the top of the eight-team group.

Sussex, on the other hand, is positioned at number seven. The Tom Haines-led side is only ahead of winless Leicestershire, as they have secured just one win out of the nine matches played so far.
