New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has recalled Devon Conway into the national line-up for the upcoming T20I tri-series against South Africa and hosts Zimbabwe. Conway will be replacing explosive top-order batter Finn Allen, who sustained a foot injury earlier this week during the MLC 2025 season in the USA.
The NZC also recalled players like Mitchell Hay, Jimmy Neesham and Tim Robinson as additional covers for MLC 2025 final bound cricketers, namely MI New York’s Michael Bracewell and Washington Freedom’s Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra and Mark Chapman.
Neesham And Co. To Fill In For MLC 2025 Final Bound Players
The NZC has confirmed several changes to the New Zealand composition for the upcoming T20I tri-series in Zimbabwe. Finn Allen, who blasted a record-shattering 51-ball 151 in the MLC 2025 season, has been ruled out of national duties owing to a foot injury.
Other New Zealand cricketers like Michael Bracewell, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra and Mark Chapman are also scheduled to play the upcoming MLC 2025 final between MI New York and Washington Freedom on July 14 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
Notably, the MLC 2025 final bound players will only be left with two days to fly to Zimbabwe and link up with New Zealand squad to face South Africa at the Harare Sports Club. As cover ups, the NZC has recalled Mitchell Hay, Jimmy Neesham and Tim Robinson as temporary replacements for the New Zealand-based MLC stars. Here is a look at the revamped New Zealand squad for the T20I tri-series:
