Chris Gayle to feature in Legends League Cricket 2022

The prolific Caribbean batter, Chris Gayle is confirmed to be a part of the second edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) slated to be played from 17 September to 8 October. 

Gayle, who holds the record of scoring most runs in the T20 format (14562) and most sixes (1056) will once again entertain the Indian fans with his ball-striking capabilities. 

The 42-year-old will join his fellow Caribbean players, Denesh Ramdin and Lendl Simmons, who are also set to be a part of the tournament.

LLC 2 to be played in Six Cities: Reports

The second edition of the LLC is likely to be hosted by six cities, namely Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, Jodhpur, Cuttack and Rajkot. It can be a four-team tournament, consisting of a total of 15 matches. The final stages of the discussions are taking place, and the schedule will soon be announced. 

Along with Gayle, other prominent additions to the latest season are the likes of Sourav Ganguly, Jacques Kallis, Dale Steyn, Shane Watson and Ross Taylor. 

The first edition of LLC was played in Muscat, Oman in January this year, which witnessed the participation of three teams.
