Shaheen Shah Afridi picks up Marnus Labuchagne, yet again

Shaheen Afridi is starting to become the kryptonite to Marnus Labuchagne, the left-arm quick from Pakistan has now picked up the wicket of the Australian bloke on seven occasions they face faced each other.

The encounter between Middlesex and Glamorgan was no different as Shaheen picked up his first wicket in County cricket dislodging the Australian batter.

Afridi's pacy and short delivery length turned out to be the weakness of the right-handed batter, and that got his stumps rolling over. However, the delivery was good enough to make Marnus leave the ball and strike off the rear end of his willows, straight away hitting the stumps.

Rahman urged BCB to keep a separate bowling unit for the red-ball and white-ball formats. He further added that the workload needs to be managed for the pace-bowlers of the Bangladesh team to flourish in the upcoming series.

The player looks to prolong his career and had this to say about it, “For me staying healthy is important. If I want to give service to the Bangladesh team for a long time, then staying fit is important and to remain fit I feel the best way is to pick and choose between three formats.”
