Indian speedster Bhuvneshwar Kumar attributed the turnaround in his form to more opportunities with the ball, rather than making any changes to his bowling action.

The right-arm pacer has been terrific ever since the home series against South Africa earlier this year. He has regained his rhythm and he has been bowling well.

Bhuvneshwar, who joined the limited overs side after being rested from the ODI leg of the West Indies tour, was once again impressive in India's win in the first T20I of the five-match series. In the one-sided encounter, Bhuvneshwar returned with the figures of 2/11. Although he could not complete his full quota of four overs, he made a significant contribution to the team's victory.

I didn't change my bowling action, I just tried to bowl more: Bhuvneshwar

In the pre-match virtual press conference ahead of the second T20I, Bhuvneshwar was asked if he had made any changes to his bowling action in the last few months, to which he responded by saying that more bowling time has helped him to bowl well in the last few months.

"Honestly, I didn't change my bowling (action) I just tried to bowl more, which brought my body back into rhythm. It brought back confidence in me. Fitness is something if you improve. It helps you bowl better," Bhuvneshwar Kumar said in a video by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The senior paceman further added that he made efforts to keep his body in rhythm by bowling consistently whenever he has had the chance. Apart from the practice sessions with the team, Kumar worked hard on his bowling at home as well.
