Indian spin trio of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel featured in the 'Best Spinning Allrounders' List made by the Australians during the Boxing Day Test versus Pakistan at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.

As Australia took on the visitors on Day 1 of the marquee fixture at MCG, Channel 7 cameras panned on the home team's dressing room and caught a whiteboard where the hosts had marked out all the best spin allrounders' names.

The list featured the Indian spin trio of Ashwin, Jadeja and Axar, who have had a significant influence with bat and ball in India-Australia Test matches over the years.

The fantastic troika has had a deep impact on Border-Gavaskar Trophy encounters by unleashing their batting skills on timely occasions.

Axar, Ashwin, Jadeja In Australia's Special List

Indian fans watching the Australia-Pakistan Test match would've been proud of the Ashwin, Axar and Jadeja trio to have featured on such a list as it underlines how high the team from Down Under upholds the spin allrounders' battery in terms of threat and respect.

While Ashwin and Jadeja have been the much-raved icons of Test cricket, Axar's rise has been truly magnificent as was evident during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier in the year when his priceless half-centuries in Nagpur and Delhi proved to be the difference in the series.

Axar's two senior teammates, however, have been the longstanding thorn in Australia's flesh in either skill. Ashwin has taken a whopping 105 Test wickets at 25.41 versus Australia while Jadeja has scalped 89 wickets at an even lower average of 19.89.

Apart from their mastery with the ball, the two great cricketers have also troubled the Aussies hard on the batting front, with Jadeja nearly averaging 30 against the opposition as an add-on to all his class as a left-arm spinner.
