With barely a week left for the headline grabbing inaugural season of the Women's Premier League, the money has already started to flow in from all quarters.

Abbreviated as WPL, this women's league has been much-hyped as some of the biggest names have been snapped up by the five franchises.

While Tata was announced as the title sponsor of the league a few days back, there is more joyous news coming in for the cricket fans and BCCI.

Just like some of big ticket sponsors of the men's league, the women's league has been able to bag Dream11, CEAT Tyres and Amul as the major partners for this season.

The news comes as a major shot in the arm for the league as monetary boost will surely help in strengthen the foundation of the tournament.

What BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said

We are sure that the league will provide ample opportunities for players to showcase their class and talent. We thank all the partners for their support as we look forward to a fruitful inaugural edition of the TATA Women’s Premier League.”

With five teams, the tournament is set to be played from 4th March till 26th March in Mumbai.
