The much-awaited ICC meeting has concluded; however, according to reports, no discussions about the Champions Trophy 2025 were held during the four-day event.

The report clarified that the absence of the Champions Trophy 2025 from the Annual General Meeting's agenda was the reason it was not discussed or brought up during the meeting.

“Since it wasn’t on the agenda, it wasn’t brought up or discussed during the Annual General Meeting,” the official reiterated as quoted by News18.

Moreover, an official from BCCI who attended the meeting also confirmed that discussions regarding the tournament happened.

No Discussion About Champions Trophy 2025: BCCI Official Reveals

“It isn’t a bilateral where two boards will hold discussions. No dialogue happened between us and PCB on the Champions Trophy. Since it wasn’t on any of the agendas, it wasn’t discussed during the AGM too. It is still time away and ICC will handle it,” a top BCCI official expressed.

However, as another report states, the budget for the Champions Trophy 2025 was not just discussed, but also approved during the meeting.

The Champions Trophy is currently slated to take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025, in Pakistan. However, the possibility of the Men In Blue traveling across the border to Pakistan remains uncertain.
