Pakistan are set to face West Indies in a three-match ODI series after steamrolling the hosts by 2-1 in the T20I leg. The inaugural encounter of the 50-over competition will be played at Tarouba's Brian Lara Stadium on Friday.

The eyes will be on Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi, who are expected to be two key players for Pakistan. As the Men in Green gear up for the contest, here are several milestones that these two players could achieve in this series.

Babar Azam eyes Imran Khan and Shahid Afridi's records

Runs and fifties vs West Indies across formats

Babar Azam has enjoyed stellar success against the West Indies, amassing 1721 runs across three formats. He is not far behind the legendary Imran Khan, who struck 1977 runs against the Caribbean side in his playing days. Thus, if Babar scores 257 runs in the upcoming series, he will go past the former captain on the elite list.

The stylish right-handed batter has slammed eleven fifties against the West Indies across formats. Interestingly, Imran Khan also has the same number of fifties; so, if Babar hits another half-century, he will surpass the talismanic all-rounder's tally.

Most international runs for Pakistan in West Indies

Former all-rounder Shahid Afridi has 751 runs to his name in the Caribbean across formats. Babar Azam has already struck 671 runs, and if he scores 81 more runs, he will overtake Afridi on the list of Pakistan's most successful batters on the Caribbean soil.

Shaheen Afridi Could Go Past Amir; Aims Multiple Historic Feats

Most away wickets for Pakistan

Shaheen Afridi has bagged 163 wickets at the opponent's home in international cricket. If he takes two wickets in the West Indies ODIs, Shaheen will break Mohammad Amir's tally of 164 away international wickets.

Shaheen could surpass Abdul Qadir for more ODI wickets

Shaheen Afridi has 127 ODI wickets under his belt. He needs just six more wickets to go past the legendary Abdul Qadir on the list of Pakistan's most successful bowlers in the format.

Needs 3 wickets to complete 350 international scalps

Shaheen Afridi has been a prolific performer in international cricket for Pakistan, scalping 347 wickets at an average of 24.91 and a strike rate of 32.3. If he bags three wickets against the West Indies, Shaheen will become the eleventh player from Pakistan to register 350 international wickets.
