Pakistan are desperately awaiting the result of the USA vs Ireland match set to take place in Florida on June 14 as they would be supporting the Irish to beat the hosts to remain alive in the tournament.

Notably, Pakistan have lost two off their three matches and now their qualification depends on other teams' results.

Meanwhile, the USA are just a win away from scripting history and qualifying for the Super 8 round. However, things seem to not be going in Pakistan's favour as the USA vs IRE match has been delayed because of wet outfield at the Central Broward Regional Park in Florida.

Notably, Florida has been hit by a flood because of heavy rainfall. If the USA-Ireland match gets washed-out then also Pakistan will get knocked out of the tournament.

In the latest events, a few reports have been floating on the internet which suggest that Pakistan have skipped training and media interaction citing 'Wet conditions and non-availability of training facilities'.

However, the fans have touted it to be a cover-up as their fate hangs on the result of the USA-Ireland match.

India will also play their final group stage game at this venue in Florida against Canada on June 15 and rain threat looms over that fixture as well.
