It will be the tussle between Coastal Riders (CSR) and Bezawada Tigers (BZW) in the 13th match of the Andhra Premier League (APL) 2022, scheduled at Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on July 12.

After losing their first two fixtures, Coastal Riders' campaign turned upside-down as they featured in back-to-back wins. On the other hand, Bezwada Tigers are unbeaten in the tournament so far, having won two of their games, while the remaining two got abandoned.

The CR Gnaneshwar-led Riders' arrant performance at the start of their campaign resulted in two successive defeats. However, since then, it has been a merry yarn for them. 

In a rain-curtailed affair versus Vizag Warriors, CSR were guided towards a stunning victory by Siraparapu Ashish, who claimed a three-for, to restrict the Warriors to 80/8 in nine overs. While the run-chase was not smooth, Sirla Hima Srinivas' 19-ball 38 somehow took his side beyond the finishing line.

The Tigers remain the only undefeated team in the competition as of now. Their previous encounter against Rayalaseema Kings was a washout.

Before it, Ricky Bhui and Co. attained a six-wicket win, courtesy of a spirited bowling display, followed by Pyla Avinash's heroics with the bat.
