Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale's remarkable performance at the Paris Olympics 2024 has drawn widespread acclaim from Indian sports stars.

Kusale clinched a bronze medal in the men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions event, scoring 451.4, marking a historic achievement as India's first-ever Olympic shooting medal in this event.

His triumph adds to India's illustrious shooting legacy, following Abhinav Bindra's gold in the men's 10m air rifle at Beijing 2008 and Gagan Narang's bronze in the same event at London 2012.

Among those celebrating Kusale's success is India’s ace all-rounder Hardik Pandya

Pandya shared his congratulations on Instagram, posting a story with the message, "Another one in the bag, Congratulations Swapnil."

Kusale's achievement follows the notable performances of Manu Bhaker, who won bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol individual event and later teamed up with Sarabjot Singh to secure another bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya has been making headlines in cricket as well. The T20 World Cup winner was part of India's squad that recently whitewashed Sri Lanka 3-0 in the T20I series at the Pallekele International Stadium. However, Pandya opted out of the ODI squad due to personal reasons, starting August 2.
