Andrew Tye becomes Western Australia's all-time leading one-day wicket-taker

Australia's fast bowler Andrew Tye has become Western Australia’s highest wicket-taker in one-day cricket, breaking a seven-year record by Kade Harvey. Tye scalped his 104th wicket on the last ball of South Australia’s innings at the WACA on Wednesday.

Kade Harvey previously held the record with 103 wickets. The rest of the top five in the list consists of Jo Angel , Nathan Coulter-Nile and Tom Moody. Harvey had played 33 more matches than Tye. 

Tye finished the innings against South Australia with the figures 2-53. The pacer is widely known as a white-ball specialist, he average 21.14 in List A matches. He debuted against Queensland in 2013 and has also represented Australia at the international level.
