With not much total to defend on the board, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have replaced half-centurion of first innings Kyle Mayers with experienced leg spinner Amit Mishra for the remainder part of the innings.

This substitution comes when twelve overs are left in the game and 95 runs are there to defend with Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal still at the crease. Rajasthan Royals (RR) have had the upper hand until now in the game due to their consistent bowling and decent batting until now.

RR's skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bowl first in Jaipur as Mayers struck a fighting half-century after their extremely slow start to the competition.

Meanwhile, Mishra has been doing fine in the competition with three wickets in three games. He needs to pick up quick wickets to ensure that they atleast make the chase easier for them.

Earlier, LSG posted 154 on the board and are now finding it difficult to defend the total as the RR openers formed an 87 run partnership before the Jaiswal departed.

By the time of writing, the match is struck in a tight position with Royals 95 for two after the end of 13 overs.
