Notably, among the 12 umpires, as many as six members also officiated during the previous Champions Trophy edition of 2017 in England.

The ICC has announced a panel of 12 umpires for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. Among the six set to reprise their roles from the previous edition of the tournament back in 2017, Richard Kettleborough officiated in the high-stakes India vs Pakistan final.

He will be joining fellow senior umpires like Kumar Dharmasena, Richard Illingworth and Paul Reiffel. Moreover, the ICC has also unveiled three match referees for the tournament. Interestingly, no Indian official, including prominent match referee Javagal Srinath, was named in the officiating list by the ICC.

Here is a look at all match officials set to officiate in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy:

Umpires: Kumar Dharmasena, Chris Gaffaney, Michael Gough, Adrian Holdstock, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, Ahsan Raza, Paul Reiffel, Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, Rodney Tucker, Alex Wharf and Joel Wilson.

Match Referees: David Boon, Ranjan Madugalle and Andrew Pycroft.

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy is set to launch on February 19 with a Group A match between New Zealand and hosts Pakistan at the National Stadium in Karachi. As many as eight teams will be participating in the tournament.

Making its return to the ICC lore after a gap of eight years, the opening round of the 2025 Champions Trophy will be a Group Stage affair, with top two teams from each of the two groups to advance into the semifinals.
