It's the 51st game of IPL 2023 and we have Gujarat Titans (GT) going up against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in this encounter. Gujarat Titans are the defending champions and they have been pretty dominant in this season too, sitting at the top of the table currently. LSG, on the other hand, have also played good cricket and are in the third position but with KL Rahul out of the competition now, they need to find a right balance and winning momentum again. We are at the business end of the tournament now and let's hope for a cracking encounter.

What is the venue of GT vs LSG Game?

This is the second time, GT and LSG are going head-to-head in this season. It will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad - the home ground of GT. The first game of this season between these two sides was played at the Ekana Stadium, Lucknow and it was a low-scoring thriller where GT came out on top.

What are the expected changes in the playing XI of GT vs LSG?

GT are a team in form. They played a perfect game in their last encounter against a strong RR unit and there won't be many changes in their playing XI. However, Josh Little has left GT squad for national duty and won't be available for at least their next three games. So, Alzarri Joseph will most likely fit back into the XI against LSG. They might also think about resting Shami but with their qualification still not confirm, they might try that after few games.

Expected Playing XI of GT

Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Abhinav Manohar, Hardik Pandya (c), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, and Alzarri Joseph.

Impact Players

Vijay Shankar, Sai Sudharsan, Srikar Bharat, Shivam Mavi, and Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore.

What are the expected changes in the playing XI of LSG vs GT?

LSG went with Manan Vohra as an opener alongside Kyle Mayers in their last game against CSK. Now, with KL Rahul out of the whole season they are likely to persist with Vohra in this game but there is also an option of going with Karun Nair who has been added to the squad as a replacement to KL Rahul.

Quinton de Kock will continue to sit on the sidelines as their four overseas players are almost locked in. Deepak Hooda, however, may slot back into the playing XI in place of Karan Sharma along with Amit Mishra who missed the last game.

Expected Playing XI of LSG

Kyle Mayers, Manan Vohra, Ayush Badoni, Marcus Stoinis, Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Krunal Pandya (c), Amit Mishra, Naveen-ul-Haq, Ravi Bishnoi, and Mohsin Khan.

Impact Players

Quinton de Kock, Karan Sharma, Avesh Khan, Yash Thakur, Krishnappa Gowtham.

Winner Prediction

GT are playing at home and are in dominant form. They also have the psychological advantage of beating LSG at Lucknow earlier this season, and we can expect them to notch up a win in this game too.
