How RCB stars fared in CT [Source: @iplt20.com]
The Champions Trophy group stage is done and dusted and we know the four semi-finalists who have outdone everyone and have reached the knockout stages of the mega ICC event. India, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand are the last four teams as the tournament has almost reached its climax.
There are several IPL stars who are a part of their respective Champions Trophy squads and in this piece, we will focus on the players from Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and how their superstars performed in the group stage matches.
1) Virat Kohli

As the numbers suggests, Virat Kohli had a decent group stage campaign in the Champions Trophy. He started out with a score of 22 against Bangladesh, but the champion batter left the struggle behind in the next match as he scored a majestic unbeaten 100 to guide India home Vs Pakistan.
In the final match, he looked in good touch, but a Glenn Phillips stunner dismissed him against the Kiwis. He ended the group stage with an average of 44.3 and 133 runs. He will get at-least one more game in the tournament and the batter would look to score big in the contest.
2) Phil Salt

A tournament to forget for English opener, Phil Salt. A lot was expected of him heading into the competition, but he disappointed everyone and failed to deliver in all three matches. Im 3 matches, he accumulated just 30 runs, at an average of 10.
Interestingly, unlike his RCB mate, Kohli, he played on flat Pakistan surfaces, and yet failed to deliver the goods when England needed him the most. With IPL coming up, the RCB fans will be sweating hard on his form.
3) Liam Livingstone

Another RCB batter who had a flop show in the group stages of the Champions Trophy, Liam Livingstone, just like Salt had a disastrous tournament and the one to forget.
He simply couldn't bat with awareness as the explosive batter accumulated just 33 runs in 3 matches, with an average of 11. RCB have pinned a lot of hopes on him and they'll be disappointed with what they saw. The batter lacked patience to bat according to scenario and it costed England big time.
