After securing a thumping win in the first game in Mohali, India will take on Afghanistan in the second T20I of the ongoing three-match series on Sunday. The first match witnessed India's dominance over the visitors, as they chased the 159-run target, courtesy of flamboyant knocks from Shivam Dube and Jitesh Sharma.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who made his much-awaited T20I comeback with this match, recorded a silver duck, as he was runout off the second delivery. Among others, Shubman Gill and Tilak Varma scored in twenties, while Rinku Singh remained unbeaten on 16.

Talking about the bowlers, Washington Sundar and Ravi Bishnoi were underwhelming, conceding 62 runs off their six overs. While Axar Patel emerged as India's wrecker-in-chief with the ball, Arshdeep Singh and Mukesh Kumar had satisfactory outings.

Moving on to the second match in Indore, India will make one certain change, bringing Virat Kohli in for Tilak Varma at number three. Kohli missed out on the first game due to personal reasons and is all set to make his way back into the playing XI.

In another move, India might also replace Gill with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was ruled out of the first game due to soreness in his groin. So, if Jaiswal is fit, he will be included in India's playing XI for this match.

Although Sundar and Bishnoi registered modest numbers in Mohali, the hosts might persist with them, at least for this match.
