How will the Kingsmead Stadium pitch behave?
The pitch at Kingsmead traditionally supports seamers due to its grass covering and bounce, especially in the early stages of the game. As the match progresses, spinners tend to find grip and turn. While the pacers dominate early on, the surface usually becomes easier to bat on in the second half. A score of 160-170 in T20s is considered competitive at this venue. Moreover, both captains might prefer chasing to mitigate the dew factor in night games.
