India Women have finally ended their trophy drought and have created history by winning the Women's World Cup 2025. They beat South Africa by 52 runs, and after losing three matches on the trot in the group stage, they have made a stunning comeback.
The most important thing in the winning campaign was different players stepping up in varied situations. Indian openers, middle-order batters, and spinners all played a huge part in the title win. So, in this article, we will provide the ratings to Indian players out of 10 after their victorious World Cup campaign.
Harmanpreet Kaur - 8/10
Harmanpreet Kaur, the leader of the pack could not score consistently in the tournament but stepped up in the big semifinal. In a big run-chase against mighty Australia, she scored 89 at a good rate and was instrumental in India qualifying for the final.
She also scored 70 against Australia, but other than that, she could not make much of an impact with the bat. As a leader, though, she kept the spirits high despite a hiccup in the group stage and was tactically astute especially in the final. Thus, she gets 8 in our rating for a dual role of a batter and a leader.
Smriti Mandhana - 8.5/10
Smriti Mandhana is the second-highest run-scorer of the tournament after Laura Wolvaardt. She provided good starts to India in most of the matches and scored 434 runs at an average of 54.25.
Her strike-rate was also pretty good throughout the tournament. She also led the foundation for a big score in the final and thus deserves a rating of 8.5.
Deepti Sharma - 9.5/10
Deepti Sharma proved once again why she is one of the best all-rounders in world cricket. She picked up a fifer and scored a fifty in the final and ended the tournament with 22 wickets, the leading wicket-taker.
Deepti bowled in different junctures for the team and also made important contributions with the bat under pressure. She is the player of the tournament and gets a 9.5 in our rating.
Jemimah Rodrigues - 8/10
Jemimah Rodrigues has etched her name in Indian cricket's folklore with an unbeaten century in the semifinal against Australia. Against New Zealand, too, it was her counter-attacking 76 off 55 balls that took India to a massive total.
Thus, Rodrigues gets an 8 in our rating for her performance under pressure and impactful knocks.
Richa Ghosh - 9/10
India's young wicketkeeper batter turned out to be a game-changer in quite a few matches. She played impactful cameos in the knockouts, while against South Africa in the group stage, she smashed 94 off just 77 balls.
Overall, her power-hitting skills and ability to deliver under pressure played a big role in India's title win and she deserves a rating of 9.
Pratika Rawal - 8/10
Pratika Rawal got injured before the semifinal but was pretty consistent with the bat in the group stage. She scored a fantastic century against New Zealand and provided stability at the top of the order.
She scored 308 runs in six innings at an average of 51.33 and gets 8 in our rating.
Shafali Verma - 8/10
Shafali Verma came in as a replacement of Pratika Rawal and turned out to be a hero of the final. She played just two matches, but her impact in the final will be remembered for years to come.
She scored 87 with the bat, and then with the ball, she bagged two crucial wickets to change the complexion of the game. Thus, for her performance in the final, she gets a rating of 8.
Shree Charani - 8.5/10
Shree Charani was an underrrated hero of India's winning campaign. In almost all matches, she bowled with great economy and bagged crucial wickets to keep India going with the ball.
She ended as India's second-highest wicket-taker and gave runs at an economy rate of just 4.96 in a high-scoring tournament. Thus, she gets a rating of 8.5.
Amanjot Kaur - 6/10
Amanjot Kaur started off the tournament with a brilliant fifty in the first match against Sri Lanka. India were under pressure in that match and her all-rounder performance help India win that game.
However, she could not deliver with consistency in the rest of the tournament, though she made some handy contributions with both bat and ball. Thus, she gets a rating of 6.
Harleen Deol - 5/10
Harleen Deol batted at three in the group stage for India, but could not get a big score that the team expected. She started off with two knocks of 40s, but the strike-rate remained an issue.
Thus, she was not selected for the knockouts and gets 5 out of 10.
Kranti Goud - 6/10
Kranti Goud is another player who started the tournament. She picked six wickets in the initial three matches but could manage just three more in the next five matches.
Thus, she also leaked runs in the later half of the tournament and gets 6 in our rating.
Radha Yadav - 4/10
Radha Yadav played just three matches in the tournament and started off with a three-fer against Bangladesh. However, she was very expensive in the semifinal and final and thus gets 4 in the rating.
Sneh Rana - 6/10
Sneh Rana made decent contributions with both bat and ball in the group stage. She picked seven wickets with the ball and played a handy cameo against Sri Lanka, but was dropped in the later stages of the tournament for a more aggressive bowling option.
Thus, Sneh Rana gets 6 in our rating.
Renuka Singh - 5.5/10
Renuka Singh played six matches in the tournament but could bag only three wickets. However, she was a bit unlucky, especially in the final, with some catches getting dropped off her bowling.
Her economy was good, though, and for her tight spells, she gets a rating of 5.5.
