Ravindra Jadeja Reaches Special Milestone Against RCB; Smashes His 100th Six In IPL 2024 Opener

Ravindra Jadeja emerged as one of the early discoveries in the IPL. When Shane Warne led the Rajasthan Royals to victory in the inaugural IPL season, Ravindra Jadeja, then a 19-year-old, was one of their key players.

Fast forward 16 years, and Jadeja remains one of the premier all-rounders in the IPL. Today, he achieved a milestone by completing 100 sixes in the tournament.  Earlier in the match, Kohli accomplished another feat by scoring 1000+ runs vs CSK.

Hitting 100 sixes is a remarkable achievement, and it speaks volumes about Jadeja's consistency and talent. Over his 16-year career in the IPL, he has never compromised on quality. 

Having played for teams like Rajasthan Royals, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Chennai Super Kings, and Gujarat Lions, Jadeja has shown versatility and adaptability. Despite being the second fiddle to Dhoni for many years, he has executed Dhoni's plans flawlessly. Jadeja epitomizes the essence of a team player, always putting the team's interests above his own.

Ravindra Jadeja is the type of player who brings balance to most teams. His exceptional performance in batting, bowling, and fielding, combined, makes him a sought-after asset everywhere he plays. 

In the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad, he is the backbone of the team, being essential in all aspects of the game.  He was given captaincy in 2022 when Dhoni decided to move. 

In critical moments, like the last IPL final where CSK needed 10 runs off the last two balls, it was Jadeja who clinched the victory for them with a six and a four. He has delivered game-winning performances like this on numerous occasions. 

His striking ability and technique are among the best in the game. CSK trusts Jadeja to bat in the middle and at the end of the innings, and he consistently delivers. Once again today vs RCB, he showcased his skills and secured the win for CSK.
