It has been more than 10 days since the start of IPL 2025. Almost every franchise have played three matches and have got a fair idea of what their combination should look like going forward in the tournament.

While the ongoing season is filled with excitement and drama, some surprises have left the fans surprised. Notably, several deserving players are warming the bench, and the fans are perplexed as to when will they get a chance in the ongoing season. Meanwhile, this article will shed light on three deserving players who are yet to be given a chance in the ongoing cash-studded league.

1. Devon Conway

One of the most shocking moves of the tournament so far has been Devon Conway's exclusion from the playing XI. It is worth noting that Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad have formed one of the most-formidable opening pair for the Men in Yellow.

However, Conway was not a part of CSK's camp for IPL 2024 because of injury. Thus, it led to change in the combination and it also led to his ouster from the team. However, given Conway's stats, he deserves a place in the playing XI.

For a player with 48.63 to sit on the bench and not get a chance to prove his worth is beyond anyone's understanding.

2. Rahmanullah Gurbaz

KKR are another team that is struggling for form in the ongoing season as they have registered just a solitary win in three matches. Meanwhile, the Knight Riders have left out Gurbaz, who have done well for the defending champions in the last two seasons.

Notably, Gurbaz's break-out season was IPL 2023 where he amassed 227 runs in 11 matches and also shone in last season despite limited chances.

Besides KKR, Gurbaz has also done well for the Afghanistan side in the recent past, which also presents a strong case for his inclusion in the line-up, given Quinton de Kock has retired from international cricket.

3. T Natarajan

Delhi Capitals have got off to a great start in the tournament with two wins in a row. However, they too have a room of improvement with inclusion of T Nararajan in the team. DC have one of the finest bowling attacks but Natarajan's exclusion raises a few eyebrows.

Natarajan can replace Mukesh Kumar in the team and further enhance DC's bowling attack. Let's compare Natarajan and Mukesh Kumar's stats in IPL.
