On Wednesday, April 2, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will lock horns against Gujarat Titans at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. It will be the first home game for the RCB, who are also the table toppers in the ongoing IPL season.

It is worth noting that the Challengers have got off to the perfect start as they have won first two matches. Now ahead of the crucial clash against Gujarat Titans, lets look at RCB's probable XI.

No Change In The Top-Order

RCB are doing well for themselves and are in no dire-need of a change. Virat Kohli and Phil are doing great at the top and will open the innings against Gujarat Titans. Further, Rajat Patidar and Devdutt Paddikal will also keep their place in the playing XI.

Jacob Bethell In For Liam Livingstone?

One change that RCB can look for in the upcoming match is replacing with Liam Livingstone. In the two matches so far, Livingstone hasn't performed well with the bat. Thus, Jacob Bethell can be brought in for the upcoming clash.

Further, Chinnaswamy Stadium doesn't offer assistance to spinners, thus Livingstone's role gets limited and it is easy to replace him as RCB have Suyash Sharma and Krunal Pandya as the two spinners.

Lets Compare Bethell and Livingstone's record with the bat in recent times.

Thus, the stats clearly states that Bethell is the right choice to replace Liam Livingstone in the playing XI for Gujarat Titans clash.

Any Other Changes For GT Match?

Besides this change, RCB are not in need of any more replacements in the team and are likely to go ahead with the same playing XI with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood leading the bowling line-up.
