After a disastrous first season in MLC 2023, the LA Knight Riders made a good start to their campaign this season. However, the momentum dropped after the first game, and they started to fall behind the competition as they kept losing important games on the league stage. 

Just when the Sunil Narine-led side appeared done and dusted for this season, they staged a comeback with a win against the Seattle Orcas in their last outing. That win has brought them to a position where they just need to win their last match against MINY to make it into the top four.

MI New York

The MI New York has had a similar run to MLC 2023. They have managed to win only out of their six games and are currently standing on the verge of elimination. However, in the first edition of the tournament, MI made a comeback from a similar stage and went on to become the maiden champions of the tournament. 

The Kieron Pollard-led side needs to win this match against the Knight Riders by a significant margin to make it into the playoffs.
