The Women's Asia Cup 2024 is all ready to witness another interesting clash as India Women takes on United Arab Emirates Women at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla.

And as the toss revealed, UAE Women won the toss and opted to bowl first. 

Unfortunately for India, Shreyanka Patil was ruled out of the tournament due to a fractured finger, while attempting a catch in the game against Pakistan Women. However, as skipper Harmanpreet Kaur revealed Tanuja Kanwar will be making her T20I debut for India and has received her cap from Renuka Singh Thakur.

It might not have the nip and might stuck in the surface. Spinners can come and bring their art into play, if they hit the right lengths. Runs are inevitable here."

Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): "Yes definitely, we wanted to bat first and we got that. We'll go with the flow and see what total we can set.

Shreyanka is not playing as she got injured in the last game and in place of her, Tanuja Kanwar is playing."

Esha Rohit Oza (UAE Women Captain): "We want to bowl first. It's a fresh wicket, we want to use that to our advantage and restrict them. It's important that you learn from the game before. There were quite a few errors in the field.

We want to do our basics right. We are playing with the same side."
