On Friday, Lucknow SuperGiants will cross swords against Delhi Capitals in match 26 of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. 

Led by KL Rahul, the SuperGiants have been impressive in the tournament, securing three wins in four outings. 

Meanwhile, the Capitals have had a horrendous IPL 2024 campaign, reeling at the bottom with four defeats in five matches. 

Talking about LSG, despite having an underwhelming season with the bat, KL Rahul has led his troops with perfection. 

The swashbuckling duo of Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran have stepped up for the side, while Devdutt Padikkal, who joined the franchise via a pre-auction trade with Rajasthan Royals, has had a lean patch, managing only 22 runs across four innings. 

So, moving on to this game, the hosts might replace Padikkal with Deepak Hooda, who looked in rhythm during their face-off against Rajasthan Royals. 

More importantly, Mayank Yadav, who has grabbed a million eyeballs through his stellar performances, will likely miss out, as he sustained a side strain in the last match against Gujarat Titans. He will likely be replaced by Yudhvir Charak.
