The two table-toppers of their respective groups recently secured emphatic wins in the quarterfinals to make it to the top four. The match will be hosted by the iconic M. Baroda

Baroda, under the leadership of Krunal Pandya, topped the Group B points table with six wins out of seven matches. Incidentally, five of those wins occurred while chasing, and they pipped Sikkim by a record 263-run margin in their final group match of the tournament. In the quarterfinals, Baroda trounced Bengal by 41 runs in Bengaluru to make it to the top four.

Mumbai

Mumbai secured five wins out of six matches to finish the Group E stage of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 season at the top of the points table. Featuring the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, Suryakumar Yadav, Prithvi Shaw, Shivam Dube, Shardul Thakur and captain Shreyas Iyer in the line-up, Mumbai also defeated a strong Vidarbha side in the fourth quarterfinal in Alur to qualify for the semifinals.
