The stage is set for the grand finale of the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season, with two-time winners and fourth-time finalists Vidarbha taking on maiden title-chasers Kerala at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. The five-day affair will be played between Wednesday, February 26 and Sunday, March 2 and the action will commence from 9:30 AM IST onwards on each match day.

Ahead of the much-awaited contest, here is a look at three possible players who can make the biggest impact in the impending 2024-25 Ranji Trophy final.

3 Players To Watch Out For In Ranji Trophy 2025 Final:

3. Yash Rathod (Vidarbha)

Vidarbha batting prodigy Yash Rathod has already racked up 933 runs in just nine innings of the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season at a prolific average of 58.31. The 24-year-old might well cross the 1,000-run mark this season if he manages to put up yet another stellar show in the final against Kerala bowlers. Moreover, Rathod also finds himself at the brink of becoming the leading run-maker of the season, as he is just 10 runs away from toppling current leader Shubman Sharma.

The uncapped Indian cricketer will also head into the Ranji Trophy 2025 finals on a trail of match-winning hundreds in the quarterfinals as well as in the semifinals. Moreover, he pounded a tense 98 in a winning cause for Vidarbha nearly a month ago during an Elite Group B match against Rajasthan.

In the midst of one of the best all-round campaigns of his domestic career, the former Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings cricketer will surely be aiming to cap his stellar season with a title-winning performance for Kerala in Vidarbha.

1. Harsh Dubey (Vidarbha)

Vidarbha’s young bowling all-rounder Harsh Dubey is leading the wicket-taking race of the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season by a landslide, considering his 66-wicket collection places him 22 scalps ahead of second-placed Auqib Nabi. Apart from harvesting wickets in a canter, Dubey has also made his presence felt with the bat by mounting 460 runs, which includes five scores of fifty or more. Notably, the youngster hauled four of those half-centuries in the space of just four innings spanning two successive matches, with one of them being Vidarbha’s quarterfinal clash against Tamil Nadu earlier this month.
