The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is heading towards its business end with the league stage nearing its end. However, we are yet to have our four semi-finalists as out of 10 teams, 9 are still in the race to reach the playoffs, with only Chennai Super Kings officially knocked out.
The 50th match of the IPL will take place between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. The Mumbai Indians are on a roll with five wins in a row and can go top of the table if they win the match.
However, they need to be wary of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the teenage sensation who scored a century against GT, last time around. MI, however, have 3 quality bowlers who have the capability to stop his juggernaut.
1) Jasprit Bumrah
The leader of the Mumbai Indians bowling attack, Jasprit Bumrah is easily the best bowler in the world and scoring against him will not be an easy task for a 14-year-old kid. Unlike GT bowlers, Bumrah has different variations and can bring them into play against the youngster who is yet to play a bowler of Bumrah's capability. Plus, this season Bumrah has got better with every game.

Due to an injury, he started out slowly in the competition but has got back in his groove and will be a tough task for Suryavanshi.
2) Hardik Pandya
Despite having a slight vulnerability against hard length ball, none of the GT pacers tried it out against Suryavanshi in the last game. However, Hardik Pandya's natural length is the back of a length delivery and he could exploit it against the teenager.
Normally this season, MI have opened the bowling with Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar, but don't be surprised if Hardik bowls a couple of overs to test out the youngster with short-pitched balls.
3) Will Jacks
A surprising name on this but this could be a brilliant tactical move against Suryavanshi. Will Jacks has often been used this season by Hardik to take wickets, and his off-break deliveries will turn against the left-handed Suryavanshi and could be a decisive ball. This season. he is known to break partnerships and the stats tell the story.

He even has a better economy rate than Bumrah and could use his off-break balls to deceive Suryavanshi.
