The much anticipated Champions Trophy 2025 is just a few days away as it is scheduled to start from February 19. The prestigious tournament is making its return to the cricket calendar after a eight year hiatus and last time champions Pakistan are the host alongside Dubai in United Arab Emirates (UAE) as it will host the team India games.

Just like in every other ICC tournament, the men in blue will start the Champions Trophy 2025 as one of the favorites as they will be eyeing to go one step ahead and lift the title this time. Despite the minimal number of ODIs team India played in the recent time, some of their players are in great touch who can go ahead and set the tone for the team in the CT2025.

So, let's look at the top three in-form players in the Team India Champions Trophy squad who can set the stage on fire and take India home to what can be another ICC title for them in two back to back years.

3. Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja has some really sweet memories while playing in the Champions Trophy in the past. The veteran all-rounder was one of the key reasons behind India lifting the Champions Trophy title in 2013.

Jadeja’s numbers in this format speaks for himself and his ODI record in Dubai is a decent one as well. With the tournament making its return after eight years, Jadeja is once again looking sharp, especially with the ball as he is the highest wicket-taker in the ongoing ODI series against England.

He will definitely be a player to watch out for from team India in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 especially with all their game to be played in Dubai.

2. Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill had a monumental period back in 2023 in ODIs scoring over 1500 runs in a year. Yes, he might have his shortcomings in Test cricket but he is one of the most consistent young players around when it comes to One-dayers.

And with no surprises, Gill continues to show his forte as he is scoring runs quite effortlessly in the on-going ODI series against England, scoring two half centuries at the top of the order.

The dynamic right-hander is looking good to carry his good form and be an absolute match-winner for India in what will be his maiden Champions Trophy of his career.

1. Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer is one of the most exciting stories to emerge since team India's heart-breaking Semi-final loss in the 2019 World Cup. The Mumbai-born cricketer solved team India's middle-order conundrum as he is the best number four batter India has got in a while.

After his record-breaking 2023 World Cup, Iyer is back playing in his best format and looking as good as ever. He has been batting beautifully since the start of the domestic season for Mumbai and was one of the best batters in the Vijay Hazare Trophy ( 50-over).

In addition, he carried his form into the three-match ODI series against England and is looking like a player who can really turn the tournament on its head for team India in Dubai.
