Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik left the internet stunned when he announced his marriage to Pakistani actress Sana Javed last week. Now, local media back in Pakistan has alleged that the former Pakistan captain and Sana had been seeing each other for the past three years while the actress was still married to her previous husband, Umair Jaswal.

Malik announced his third marriage with Pakistani actress Sana Javed last week, hinting at a divorce with former spouse Sania Mirza. The Indian tennis legend had maintained her distance from Malik and apparently took a 'Khula,' thus putting an end to their decade-long marital bliss.

However, Malik's marriage with Sana within just months of the alleged divorce from Sania did make sense to most fans.

Meanwhile, in a shocking twist in the tale, Pakistan media house Samma TV has disclosed staggering details exposing Malik and Sana's long-withstanding affair. 

Apparently, Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed met on the set of a TV show named 'Jeeto Pakistan' three years ago. They were frequent guests on the show and bonded over time while Javed was still married to Pakistani singer and songwriter Umair Jaswal.

Moreover, Samma TV added that Malik used to put conditions before the TV show's producers to only call him when Sana was on the show.

However, her existing relationship did not bother Shoaib Malik as he grew fond of her. Eventually, a harmless friendship turned into a romantic relationship, after which Sana Javed abruptly asked for a divorce from Jaswal, leaving the singer in utter disbelief. 

"Sana Javed and Shoaib Malik have been meeting for the last three years. At that time, Sana Javed was already married to Umair Jaswal. She met Shoaib Malik in Jeeto Pakistan (a TV show). Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed started meeting consecutively in the show," the Samma TV journalist revealed.

"Also, let me tell you, Shoaib Malik used to put conditions before appearing in the shows that he will only come in the shows if Sana Javed will be invited as guest, no actor noticed this thing because Sana Javed was already married to Umair Jaswal. People were curious about Ayesha Omar, but the real reason was something else," the journalist added.

Interestingly, another report coming from across the border states that Sania caught wind of Malik's affair and thus opted for Khula.

It's highly plausible that Malik cheated on Sania as the duo was seen as a happy couple up until early 2013. Not only that, the cricketer's sisters were also against his union with Sana and subsequently skipped the wedding to express resentment.
