Rohit Sharma is one of the finest batters of the current generation and is respected all over the cricketing world for his exploits both as a batter and a leader.

The Indian skipper took an interesting name when he was asked about his current favourite batter as he did not take any of the big names and instead went with Zak Crawley, the young English batter who recently did well as a batter in India's Test series.

Crawley was the leading run-scorer for England in the Test series against India with 407 runs in 10 innings and Rohit in a recent interaction with Dubai Eye 103.8, could not stop himself for praising the young batter.

The Hitman mentioned that he watched Zak Crawley very closely this season and enjoyed watching him bat. He also added that he enjoys seeing Steve Smith bat as well, but stated that the Australian is a different cricketer from the rest of the lot in terms of how he goes about his business.

"I watched Zak Crawley this season very closely & enjoyed watching him bat. I enjoyed Steve Smith's batting too, although he is different from the rest of us. I mean he's got his way of dealing with things in the middle, but he's quite successful. But Zak Crawley, I think is quite impressive."

Zak Crawley has grown into an important player for England in Test cricket and his aggressive style of play, fits perfectly into the Bazball tactics that has been fairly successful despite loss in India.
