'Thinking Like Champions...,' Rishabh Pant Reveals Delhi Capitals' Mindset In IPL 2024

Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals came in the 26th match of IPL 2024 with a desperate need of a win and they have reacted brilliantly by handing LSG their first home loss of the season. DC won the game by six wickets and it was a combined effort from the visitors which has certainly pleased their skipper Rishabh Pant.

The swashbuckling wicketkeeper batter mentioned in the post-match interview that he is a bit relieved after the win and they needed the victory at any cost. However, he accepted that sometimes things don't go as planned, and it is all about keeping that champion mindset and fighting hard.

Pant also stated that they needed people to take responsibility as they have not been upto the mark consistently. He also expressed a bit of frustration over the injuries in their camp and added that Jake Fraser-McGurk can be their longtime number 3 this season.

 "A little relieved. We badly wanted a win. Sometimes things don't go your way. But it's thinking like champions and fighting hard. We have had phases where we haven't been up to the mark, some individuals have to take responsibility for that. However, it's important to stick together as a team. We've had too many injuries. Most probably, we've found our No. 3 in (Jake) Fraser-McGurk."

Delhi Capitals will next play against Gujarat Titans on 17th of April at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
