After an unstoppable run at the big stage in the Champions Trophy, Team India is all set to play the final match in Dubai against New Zealand. Throughout the tournament, the Men in Blue performed at their best form and are now gearing up for the last shot.

As the team is preparing for the high-voltage showdown, there is a buzz about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s future after the Champions Trophy. However, former cricketer S Sreesanth has shut down the chatter, urging everyone to stop talking about that.

Sreesanth Want To See Ro-Ko In Olympics 2028

In world cricket, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s brilliance is known to everyone. With only a few chapters left in their careers, speculation about their future post-Champions Trophy is already buzzing. As the cricket will be reintroduced to the Olympics 2028, former Indian bowler S Sreesanth wants the duo to extend their career till that historic event.

“Everybody's talking about Virat, and you know Rohit might be retiring. Please let them keep playing. We are going to win the Olympics because there is nothing like an Olympian Virat and Olympian Rohit winning the gold medal for the country.” Sreesanth said.

As cricket is all set to be reintroduced in the Olympics in 2028, the sport will be played in the T20I format. Depending on that, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s participation seems impossible as they both hung boots from the shortest format. But fans are still waiting for some miracles.

Team India Eyes Champions Trophy Triumph

After the Champions Trophy came back to the cricket arena after eight years, Team India has given a dream start to their campaign. Despite the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, the Men in Blue shined bright under the Dubai Sun.

With an unbeaten run till the semifinal, they extended the streak after defeating Australia in the semifinal one. After that, the Indian side stands in front of their final jump. Fingers are crossed as Rohit Sharma and Co. will take the field against New Zealand, aiming the most desired trophy on March 9.
