'Put Us Outside The Comfort Zone' - KL Rahul On Virat Kohli's Captaincy Ahead Of SA ODIs

KL Rahul, the Indian wicketkeeper batter is all set to lead India in a three-match ODI series against South Africa. The ODI leg of the tour is set to start on 17th of December at the Wanderers, and KL Rahul who has captained India in few matches before this series, is all pumped up for the challenge.

He has also showered praise on one of his colleagues and India's former skipper, Virat Kohli. Rahul talked highly about Virat Kohli and his leadership skills. He mentioned that Virat Kohli leads by example and his discipline, work ethics have been the hallmark of his success. He added that Virat gets the best out of his players by showing them the way and his fitness set an example for others to follow and got them as a team out of their comfort zone.

KL Rahul also mentioned that Virat Kohli brings passion and energy wherever he goes and that makes him quite a popular figure.

 "Virat Kohli gets best out of players by showing them the way - he worked on his fitness, it showed that we need to get into that level and put us outside the comfort zone. He brings passion, energy and people just loved it".

The ODI series will be followed by a two-match Test series and KL Rahul is likely to don the wicketkeeping gloves in red-ball format as well, marking another comeback in Indian whites for the stylish right-handed batter.
