Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav talked about the tough time he had faced with KKR due to his poor bowling performance. The 2019-2021 was the toughest time for Kuldeep Yadav and he was low on confidence.

Kuldeep Yadav gained the limelight when Delhi Capitals (DC) bought his services for INR 2 crore in an IPL 2022 mega-auction. He had been the top performer for the franchise, picking up 41 wickets in 33 matches since joining the team.

The bowler faced immense injuries and made a triumphant return in the IPL after he switched his base to Delhi under the captaincy of Rishabh Pant.

Kuldeep Yadav concluded that he was immature and wanted guidance from MS Dhoni during those days the ideas and things he has learned are out of experience.

Kuldeep Yadav Opened About His Tough Time With KKR

In a media event organised by Delhi Capitals, spinner Kuldeep Yadav expressed himself and opened up about the time when he was with Kolkata Knight Riders in his initial days. The DC spinner also wished that he could have worked harder when he was playing for KKR.

“In KKR, I needed guidance but now I don't need it, as now I dictate terms. In 2019, Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni, his national team mentor) had retired that year and I needed guidance. The idea that I have now, has come with experience. I still regret my time in KKR (from 2016-2020) and feel whatever I am doing now, wish I could have done it back then," Kuldeep said in a media event organised by DC.

The Indian spinner has been in some staggering form in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). He has scalped 10 wickets in 5 matches with an economy of 7.70.
