Aakash Chopra cautions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) about the threat posed by Jonny Bairstow of Punjab Kings (PBKS), especially considering CSK's ongoing issues with the new ball.

As CSK faces PBKS in Dharamshala, PBKS's victory in their first encounter at Chepauk adds to the importance of this rematch for CSK, who are seeking revenge and aiming to secure two crucial points to qualify for the playoffs.

Chopra picks Bairstow as theman to watch out for

Aakash Chopra analyzed the possibilities of the upcoming CSK vs PBKS game on his YouTube channel. He predicts Bairstow to be the key man in this game.

"The first player to focus on is Jonny Bairstow. He is batting extremely well. The new ball is an area of concern at the moment if you see it from the Chennai Super Kings' viewpoint. (Stephen) Fleming said Deepak Chahar's injury is not looking good. Tushar Deshpande didn't play in the last match. Mustafizur (Rahman) is not available now," he spoke in his YouTube channel.

With Mustafizur Rahman returning home for the Zimbabwe series and Deepak Chahar sidelined due to injury, CSK is facing bowling issues.

Shardul Thakur hasn't been effective with the new ball either. Aakash Chopra anticipates that Mukesh Choudhary will play tonight against PBKS.

At the same time, Jonny Bairstow has returned to his best form after an initial struggle. He has scored 250 runs from 10 innings so far, second only to Shashank Singh in the PBKS squad.

Bairstow is also known as a clutch player, always rising to the occasion. CSK will have to take Aakash Chopra's point of view about Bairstow being the dangerous man against the CSK bowling.
