Ashes 2023 | 'Australia worried about...': Travis Head Speaks Ahead of Lord's Test

Ahead of the second Ashes 2023 Test between hosts England and Australia, a lot is being said in the matter about on-field aggression, namely from the Three Lions' side. The talk about aggression gained momentum after former Australian players lashed out at England pacer Ollie Robinson for abusing Usman Khawaja in an ugly send-off on Day 3.

Australia, who lead the five-Test series 1-0, after winning a nail-biter at Edgbaston courtesy of skipper Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon, will be eager to double their lead and put psychological pressure on Ben Stokes-led XI.

A crucial cog in Australia's batting order, Travis Head after Australia's first practice session at Lord's on Sunday, spoke about how they are not bothered about England's sledging.

As quoted by 9News Sydney, the 29-year-old explained that Australia's main focus is on winning the second Test, and he personally enjoys banter on the field.

Here's what Head said

"We're only going for lunch (at Lord's), apparently, yeah, they (England) have got this mantra they're going at. Not just on the field but off the field they are throwing some nice chat out, but this team is truly just worried about what we need to do to win the second Test to go 2-0 up and put some pressure on them.

I find it pretty fun. I had a few quiet words, jovial words, to him out there. It all makes for good fun, and we'll see where the next four Tests go. It didn't go his way in the first one, but he's very competitive, and he will want to step up. But if he doesn't, I think they have got a few people at home that might want to get up his back."

The second Test at Lord's gets underway on June 28.
