In the high-octane world of T20 cricket, low team totals stand out as stark reminders of dramatic collapses, fiery bowling spells, or simply off days for batting lineups.

Major League Cricket (MLC), the United States’ premier T20 league, has already witnessed its share of unforgettable batting debacles. Here’s a detailed look at the 5 lowest team scores in MLC history, a list no team wants to top.

5. Seattle Orcas - 124/10 vs Washington Freedom

On July 11, 2024, the Seattle Orcas were on the receiving end of a bowling masterclass, this time from Washington Freedom. What began as a steady innings turned into a collapse after the 10th over, ending in a sub-par total of 124.

Despite Heinrich Klaasen’s half-century, the lower order collapsed with Lockie Ferguson picking up a four-wicket-haul. The lowly total wasn’t good enough as Freedom clinched a 5-wicket victory.

4. San Francisco Unicorns - 111/10 vs Washington Freedom

Facing a disciplined Washington Freedom attack, the San Francisco Unicorns managed only 111 runs on July 28, 2025. Chasing 208 runs target, the top order was dismantled early, and no one stepped up to anchor the innings.

Marco Jansen and Rachin Ravindra picked up a 3-wicket-haul each to wrap up a dominant 96-run victory for Freedom, and the Unicorns landed on the wrong side of history.

3. Seattle Orcas - 108/10 vs MI New York

On July 5, 2024, the Seattle Orcas collapsed once again in the same season. MI New York’s bowlers dominated from the start, never allowing Seattle to settle. 8 batters went back on single-digit scores, with Shubham Ranjane being the highest scorer with 35 runs.

Trent Boult and Rashid Khan picked 3 wickets each for New York and bowled out Orcas for 108 runs. MI chased it down in 14.2 overs to wrap up a comprehensive 6-wicket win.

2. MI New York - 88/10 vs Washington Freedom

Despite having several T20 stars in their lineup, MI New York crumbled to 88 against a fiery Washington Freedom bowling unit in 2024. Chasing 183, early wickets fell in a cluster, and the middle order offered no resistance as the top 6 batters failed to move past single-digit scores.

It was a shocking result given MI’s otherwise strong batting reputation. Four bowlers from Freedom chipped in with a minimum of 2 wickets and bowled out New York to just 88 runs and won the game by a huge margin of 94 runs.

1. Seattle Orcas - 60/10 vs Texas Super Kings

The Seattle Orcas created an unfortunate record when they were skitled out for just 60 runs in the 2025 season, the lowest total in MLC history. The Texas Super Kings had 153 runs on the table in the first inning. However, in the chase, they tore through the Orcas’ batting lineup with ruthless efficiency.

It was a complete batting failure, with none of the Orcas' batters, except for Aaron Jones and Jasdeep Singh, reaching double digits in the entire inning. Zia-ul-Haq, Nandre Burger, and Noor Ahmad picked 3 wickets each to break the back of the Orcas and win the game by 93 runs.
