Milind Kumar's Career: From Indian Domestic Figure To USA's Powerhouse

Milind Kumar’s cricketing journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. Before making waves in the USA, Kumar was a well-known name in Indian domestic cricket. He made his debut for Delhi in 2011, featuring in both first-class and List-A formats. His talent soon saw him donning the colours of Sikkim and Tripura as well.

However, it was his stellar 2018-19 Ranji Trophy season for Sikkim that grabbed eyeballs. Milind accumulated a staggering 1331 runs in 8 matches with 6 hundreds and 4 fifties, making him the top run-scorer of the season. As they say, form is temporary, but class is permanent, and Milind proved it by setting the domestic circuit on fire that year.

Milind Kumar's IPL Dreams and International Exposure

Milind's domestic exploits didn’t go unnoticed, earning him a spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was part of the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in 2014 and later joined Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2019.

However, despite being in the squads of two top franchises, Milind never got a chance to showcase his skills on the IPL stage. But as they say, every cloud has a silver lining, and Milind's moment of glory was just waiting to arrive.
