Indian batting maverick, Virat Kohli recently notched up his 49th century in a 2023 World Cup match against South Africa at Eden Garden, Kolkata, helping India secure a thumping 243-run victory.

With this, Kohli has equalled the legendary Sachin Tendulkar for the most ODI centuries, marking a historic milestone. What makes it even more memorable is that this achievement coincided with Kohli's 35th birthday.

Interestingly, a throwback video from a 2012 party has resurfaced, featuring a conversation between Salman Khan and Sachin Tendulkar. In the video, Sachin predicted that Virat Kohli would be the one to break his record of 100 centuries.

The year 2012 witnessed an extravagant celebration in recognition of Sachin Tendulkar's incredible achievement of scoring 100 international centuries. It was during this momentous occasion that Salman Khan, who was present at the event as the host, asked Sachin a very interesting question.

Here’s what Salman Khan had asked:

“Who do you think will break your 100-century record?"

Sachin responded:

“I see many youngsters in the back. They can break my record. Virat (Kohli) and Rohit (Sharma) are the ones. As long as an Indian break my record, I don’t mind."
