The latest T20I sensation of Australia, Tim David is earning a lot of attention from the cricketing fraternity. He began his career for Singapore but now has been included in the Australian squad for the upcoming T20I World Cup

The importance of David in the Australian set up will lie in his incredible power hitting capabilities. The team management will expect that he provides some strong finishes to them during the tournament. He has repaid the faith of the team management has shown in him and played some brilliant hands in the series against India and West Indies. 

There aren't too many flaws in his game: David Warner

David's hitting skills have already earned him a lot of fans. The latest addition to this list is his Australian team mate, the dynamic opener, David Warner. While speaking to Fox Sports, Warner compared David with Kieron Pollard and mentioned that he feels David does not have any flaws in his game at the moment. 

"He, got some incredible power and is an awesome bloke, reminds me of Kieron Pollard and can bowl as well. He makes me look small and hits a long way, there aren't too many flaws in his game. Met him at the IPL first time. He is going to play a big role for us at the World Cup and it is exciting,"- said Warner. 

Tim David's T20I career

David has featured in 19 matches till now. He has scored 585 runs in them at an average of 36.56 and a strike rate of 159.84. 

With the ball in hand David has 5 wickets to his name in the shortest format of the game.
