Team India will embark on a tour of New Zealand and then Bangladesh following their T20 World Cup 2022 campaign.

The BCCI have already announced the squads for the upcoming tours and talented Indian batter Prithvi Shaw has been left out.

The youngster has been in fine form in domestic cricket and many would have expected him to be picked for the upcoming tours. While his snub has led to fans slamming the BCCI on social media, the player has now taken it upon himself to post an emotional message on social media.

The player uploaded a picture of Sai Baba on his Instagram with caption: “Hope you are watching everything Sai Baba.”

Shaw was expected to be the next big thing in Indian cricket, but things have not gone according to plan for him so far.

Despite scoring 355 runs in six Ranji Trophy games and 285 runs in in seven Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy outings, he has been left out of the Indian team. Understandably, the batter will feel hard done by the decision.

It remains to be seen whether he can work on his game further and come back stronger in the near future.
