Ever since his ugly verbal spat with Virat Kohli, Naveen-ul-Haq has been the talk of the town. Now that the controversy was starting to lighten, Naveen's picture with MS Dhoni has somewhat rekindled it.
Although the match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ended in a no-result, Naveen and Dhoni were captured in a picture, shared by the LSG Twitter handle.
A section of fans are seeing it as a dig at Kohli, who shares a great camaraderie with his former skipper and current CSK captain, Dhoni.
For the uninitiated, the seeds of the incident between Naveen and Kohli were first sown during the recent fixture between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The duo engaged in a heated war of words while the game was on and it later spread during the handshakes.
This put Gautam Gambhir at odds with Kohli after the former separated Kyle Mayers, who reportedly was miffed with the latter for his ferocious attitude throughout the match.
Notably, Naveen has been fined 50 percent of his match fees, while Kohli has been sanctioned a 100 percent fine on his match fees.
