India's star and the world's No. 1-ranked Test all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja stole the limelight after he stitched a crucial 203-run stand for the 5th wicket. Jadeja's knock alongside Washington Sundar will go down in history as the two helped India snatch a draw out of the jaws of a defeat. 

Jadeja had a match to remember as the southpaw took four wickets and scored a century in the second innings. The pundits and fans took to social media to hail the 36-year-old, who took the match by storm.

While the world is praising Jadeja, the fans have also credited MS Dhoni for all his efforts and for believing in the left-handed batter, who struggled in his initial days. 

Notably, Jadeja made his India debut in 2009, but found success under the leadership of MS Dhoni, as the former India skipper backed the all-rounder and touted him to become one of the best in the coming years.

This all led to the time in 2010, when NDTV reporter Vikram Chandra interviewed MS Dhoni. At that time, the reporter asked Thala about his constant belief in Jadeja and giving him repeated opportunities despite the failures.

Dhoni, at that time, made a promise that the world would see the true abilities of Jadeja in the coming years, and the prediction proved to be true as Jadeja is ranked No. 1 in Tests with 409 rating points.

Even in IPL, Ravindra Jadeja has found success as the 36-year-old has four IPL titles to his name, including the famous 10 runs off the last two balls against Gujarat Titans in 2023.
