Veteran Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez launched an attack on the PCB for their handling of left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi's injury.

Afridi suffered a knee injury during the Test series in Sri Lanka last month. The southpaw was eventually ruled out of the ongoing Asia Cup and the home T20Is against England.

Afridi travelled to the UAE with Pakistan's squad, which raised a lot of eyebrows.

Taking to his Twitter account, Hafeez shared a video where he accused the PCB of wasting precious time in kickstarting Shaheen's rehabilitation.

Earlier this week, the PCB revealed that Shaheen will travel to London, where he will undergo "uninterrupted, dedicated knee specialist care". However, Hafeez is of the opinion that Afridi should have been sent to London the moment he got diagnosed and unnecessary time-wasting is a 'criminal act'.
