Megan Schutt Bashes Harmanpreet Kaur For Her Comment On Australia's Body language

Australia cricketer Megan Schutt passed a hard-hitting remark on India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur as the latter commented on the body language of Meg Lanning and Co. after the first semi-final of the Women's T20 World Cup 2023.

As Harmanpreet did not seem too impressed by Australia's body language, her statement did not go down well with Schutt as she took a jab at the former.

The Aussie pacer cited the moments after Harmanpreet's run-out, linking it to her statement, saying that the 33-year-old confused Australia's calmness with poor body language.

"They were cruising and we were under the pump. Collectively our last five overs were crucial. Getting a couple of wickets in there but also providing pressure on all aspects, whether it's in the field, with the ball or even body language out there. Harman said our body language was down. I'll call bull**** on that. We're just calm,

"We don't panic, we don't take it out on each other if there's a misfield or a dropped catch. That's where we stand out as a team. We're a team first and we know getting angry about that isn't going to do about that. So it was a collective effort.

After earning a close five-run win over India in their semi-final bout, Australia trumped the hosts South Africa, extending their overall T20 World Cup titles tally to sixth.
