One of the Indian Premier League's (IPL) most loved batters has been Robin Uthappa. Uthappa in his long career has played for several franchises like Mumbai Indians (MI), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to name a few.

Uthappa's last IPL outing was with CSK, in the 2021 and 2022 editions, where the opener won the title in his first year. The former India batter, who has supported the CSK franchise this season, found himself questioned by a KKR fan on social media about his relation with his former IPL team.

Uthappa, who played for KKR between 2014 and 2019 in a tongue-in-cheek reply, talked about 'Loyalty and Respect' while responding to the fan over social media platform Twitter.

Here's how the conversation panned out

Overall, in 205 IPL matches, the 37-year-old batter amassed 4,952 runs which include 27 fifties and won two IPL titles.

Interestingly, CSK have qualified for the IPL 2023 final, their 10th appearance, while KKR finished the season in the seventh position with 12 points.
