England spinner Jack Leach entered into a new territory in the ongoing Multan fixture as he claimed his 100th Test wicket on Saturday.

Entering into the Day 2 of the clash, Leach needed one wicket to achieve the feat as he stood on 99 Test scalps in his 50th bowling innings after outdoing Abdullah Shafique on Friday.

As the left-arm spinner bamboozled Saud Shakeel as his 100th victim, he put the record under his kitty, becoming the 49th Englishman and 195th overall in Test cricket's history to do so.

With Pakistan in total disarray, Leach, who took a four-for, deserves his fair share of credit for it. His wickets include Shafique, Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Nawaz.

Although England's Bazball appeared to have fetched them lesser runs in the first innings, it does not seem to be the same case now with Pakistan reeling at 197/9.

As of writing, Pakistan have been bundled out for 202, trailing by 79 runs in the first innings.
